J&V guest appearance on Jim Whites's new release Transnormal Skiperoo . We were extremely honored to be invited to help out on a few songs. Jim even let Vida sing one of his songs, Long Long Day, for the album. His catalogue of music is top notch- we love every and anything with his name on it! Go buy it!
The road calls... after taking it kind of easy we're back on the road hard. March takes us to Texas and Colorado. Look for us kicking around Austin during SXSW (We'll be the ones with big ole smiles on!) and several gigs before and after the big party too :) We'll be joined by Will Downes on stand-up bass for the Colorado leg of the trip with anticipated appearances by the great Jake Schepps on banjo for several of the shows as well! For double fun we'll be playing Avagadro's in Ft. Collins with the great young bluegrass band Spring Creek and in Manitou Springs with one of our faves, Boulder Acoustic Society . Hope to see you there!
A
Big Happy New Year! Last year was busy
and wonderful! We cannot thank you, yes you,
enough. All of the great venues who have had
us (and had us back!), the musicians who have
played with us and stuck it out on the road (Will
Downes, Matt Raum, Mike Kerwin, Jimmy Sutton,
Charlie Rose to name a few) the bands who we've
shared the stage with, our booking agent Shelly
@ Charisma, the radio stations who have helped
get our music out there and lastly, but most
importantly, all the great people who have come
out to the shows. You rock! We'll be back on
the road in a few weeks (check the calendar)
and have lot's of touring planned for the rest
of the year. More to come...
